We’re Hiring: Part-Time Pet Care Provider

Potential to Grow into a Full-Time Position

 

Happy Paws Cayman is looking for a reliable, caring, and professional Part-Time Pet Care Provider to join our growing team.

This role includes dog walking, in-home pet visits, feeding, basic pet care, client communication, and keeping pets safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Before applying, please ensure you meet all of the following:

✔ Must be 21 years of age or older
✔ Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
✔ Must absolutely love animals and be comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, and other household pets
✔ Must be comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule

Responsibilities

• Walk and care for pets while ensuring their safety and wellbeing
• Feed pets and provide fresh water as instructed
• Provide in-home pet care visits
• Keep client homes secure and pet areas clean
• Complete detailed visit reports and updates
• Communicate professionally with clients and management
• Adapt to changing schedules and occasional last-minute requests
• Represent Happy Paws Cayman with professionalism and care

Requirements

• Smartphone required
• Available for long-term part-time work
• Must be available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be willing to complete interviews, reference checks, personality assessments, and background screening
• Previous animal care experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

 

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: CI$9.00 per hour
• Monthly phone allowance
• Monthly gas allowance
• Annual performance-based pay reviews
• Company bonuses
• Pension, health, and vacation benefits in accordance with Cayman Islands Labour Law
