Care Standards

Visits are scheduled within arrival windows, not exact times.

Service time begins upon arrival at your property, including entry, preparation, and care tasks.

We require minimum visit standards for pets when owners are away overnight.

Pets must be without disease.
Home Access

Clients must provide at least two reliable methods of access (e.g. two keys or key + code).

Smart locks, alarms, and access systems must remain functional.

Missed visits due to access issues are non-refundable, and additional fees may apply.
Scheduling & Communication

All official requests, changes, and cancellations must be made through our online reservation system.

Email and the client portal are the only binding communication methods.
-
WhatsApp, SMS, or social media messages are not official confirmations.
Payments & Cancellations

A 50% deposit is required within 72 hours of invoice issuance to secure bookings.

Remaining balances must be paid 7 days prior to service start.

Packages require full payment upfront.
-
No refunds are issued; credits may be granted at management’s discretion.

Unpaid bookings may be automatically canceled.
Emergencies & Weather

Happy Paws Cayman is authorized to act in your pet’s best interest during emergencies.

Additional fees apply for emergency care, transport, or evacuation.

Hurricane Packages are available for advance purchase.

Services impacted by emergencies or severe weather fall under our Force Majeure policy.
During & After Service

Clients must confirm when they depart and return home.

If return is not confirmed, services continue for pet safety.

Issues or concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
Liability & Safety

Pets are unpredictable; inherent risks exist.

Clients assume responsibility for:

Unsafe home conditions

Inadequate pet-proofing

Happy Paws Cayman is not liable except in cases of proven gross negligence.
