Our Safety Standards
To ensure clean, professional, and responsible care, all Happy Paws Cayman sitters follow strict protocols:

Hands washed before and after every visit

Use of hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap, and sanitizing wipes

Access to travel disinfectants: Lysol, Clorox wipes, and sanitizers

Masks and gloves available and used whenever needed

Staff screening: daily wellness checks by management before shifts

Continuous cleaning of frequently touched items (leashes, keys, crates, etc.)
Your sitter enters your home with health, hygiene, and safety as top priorities.
How You Can Help Us Keep Everyone Safe
We kindly ask clients to support these efforts by:

Disinfecting frequently touched surfaces before visits

Leaving antibacterial wipes in a visible location if you’d like us to wipe door handles/work areas before leaving

Ensuring your sitter has updated emergency contacts

Making a plan if travel changes or quarantines prevent your return

Keeping extra pet food, medication, and supplies at home

Informing us immediately if anyone in your home feels unwell

Cancelling visits if someone in your household is sick

Letting us know if you are working from home and still need your dog walked (as long as everyone is healthy)

If You Need to Cancel
We understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. If you must cancel last-minute due to COVID-19 concerns, please notify us as soon as possible. Any prepaid services will be credited to your Happy Paws Cayman account for future use no stress, no hassle.
